You need to create a new Repo for your project, if you use Github Desktop this process will be easier.Apparently I had initialized a git project when I started, but my first real commit had quite a lot of changes.

It's one of the best Git GUI clients and the UI comes with themes support, the built-in code editor and the general interaction with the client is simply amazing. It was simple to add a new repository from my bearcam-companion directory. GitKraken GitKraken is a Git GUI client for Windows, Mac & Linux. Instead, I decided to use GitHub Desktop to manage this project.
